Bottlenose Dolphin Survey

We completed a series of Bottlenose Dolphin Surveys along with the Irish Whale & Dolphin Group.

The survey route stretched from Blacksod Lighthouse to Dugort, Achill to Erris Head.

Along with recording sightings of bottlenose dolphins, we managed to spot common dolphins, two minke whales, basking sharks, puffins and several grey seals!

As part of this project we also assisted in an acoustic release, 8 nautical miles off the coast of Annagh Head.
